 The Hannah Center,

A maternity home in Marshfield, Wisconsin, is participating in DINE TO DONATE, sponsored by Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. On all Monday evenings in June, when you dine at Perkin’s Restaurant, the Hannah Center will receive a percentage of your bill, at absolutely no cost to you!

Each Monday, from 5-8 pm, representatives of the Hannah Center will be at Perkins with information on the work of the Hannah Center. Please consider treating yourself to dinner, snack or a delicious dessert from Perkin’s Bakery on any or all of the Mondays in June!


World Youth Day ’11 Pilgrimage with the Pope!!

For anyone 16 and older (by 7/11) interested in being part of the World Youth Day pilgrimage which will include shrines and cities of Paris, Lourdes, and Fatima AND to celebrate our Holy Father and young people from around the world. This pilgrimage will be in August of 2011, but a lot of planning and fundraising will need to be done. If you’re interested, please plan to attend this meeting. Marshfield Area Respite Care Center

 a United Way agency, is a social program for participants with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. MARCC is hosting their 15th Anniversary Garden Tour, June 27, 2010, Sunday from 1 pm until 4:30 pm at Hamus Nature Preserve Park. Tickets are $5. Proceeds will fund participants in financial need. For more information, please call 384-8478. This year, St. John’s parishioners Mary Markee and Patti Hastreiter will have their gardens in our tour. Also parishioners, Carol Sirko and Gail Snortheim are on our planning committee. MARCC has also taken care of many St. John’s, Our Lady of Peace, and Sacred Heart members since 1995.
